With a long break last weekend, head over to Cherating.
A needed break. Just the two of us.
Stayed at Impiana Cherating Resort for a damage of RM160 per night, breakfast included of course.

Slippers are provided in the hotel room.

In the middle of the crowd just facing each other and trying to wish when the fireworks started. That's how my new year eve was. Trying to look back on the things i did for 2009 is just too many.

Last year i came out with a list of what i wanted to do.

Well some did achieved and some failed (diving!) I think the most important thing is just be contented with what you have and be happy about it.

2009 was a good year but 2010 will be better!

A healthier one I would say, been exercising on a regular basis.

The first ever Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia and it's at Penang situated along Batu Ferringhi.

As far as i know this is the second Hard Rock Cafe besides the one at Kuala Lumpur.
It's just next to the hotel.
All tables were fully book on the night we came and apparently booked till don't know how many months.

A few days later spiderman came and conquered it.

The next day had a dinner date in a place where it's full house, greeted in korean, food is western and deco like lil house from the prairie.

Just back from the trip to the doctor.
Had a boil on my left leg and the doctor cut it open to press and remove all the 'cheese'.
Now i have a hole in my leg the size of a 20 cent coin.
It's like a bullet just went past through my leg.
The hole is filled with 'goss'and coverred with cotton.
I have to do this every other day until hopefully it's covered.

The usual yum cha sessions and a visit to the neighbourhood mall plus not to mentioned lunch out with them.

The week that was had a stressful start with random issues coming in on the same day and as the week closed had a farewell dinner with 2 of my colleagues leaving the company for a better opportunity.

A long long time ago my parents took me to a shopping mall to get a pair of sports shoe. It was my first pair of branded shoe.

Went to the shop that sold sports apparel and foot wear. If i'm not mistaken it's Royal Sporting House and located somewhere on the ground floor.

Was choosing a pair and finally got my first Nike. Mum advised to buy a few size larger because young lil boys will outgrow their feet very fast and the purchase will just go to waste.

A Visit to Taman Pertanian

Sunday mornings are best spent at home or more specifically on the bed especially knowing that tomorrow is a start of another working week.

It was a different morning as a bunch of us headed to Taman Pertanian or also known as Taman Bukit Seri Cahaya at Shah Alam for some outdoor activity.
Now this took place a few weeks back.

The place is huge and means of transport is best by bicycle to get you where you want to go.

It was the weekends and a friend suggested we should have drinks at the near by bar.

Taking a few shots while enjoying the company of others, i glance upon the opposite side.

Wearing a red dress with an irresistable smile, she was there standing alone.

I gasp in silence admiring her beauty wondering if she was interested in small talk or maybe i could buy her drinks.

Maybe she was waiting for someone or perhaps she was just at the bar chilling and enjoying her cocktail. How would she respond to someone like me i wondered.

And so i decided taking each foot step nearer to her with a drink on the other hand and thinking to myself, don't messed it up, be yourself.

As the climax reached its peak the body automatically moved away from her and so I went home....

Last Saturday...

It's 8am in the morning and my dad wakes me up, calling my name. I woke up at the sound of his voice wondering what could be the matter. As i become more aware and 'sleep' conscious, that's when i knew he wants me to reverse my car! The driveway is such that it can park 2 cars single file.

Always the luck when i want to sleep till lunch time, someone will always come knocking early in the morning. Dragging my feet downstairs, looking down and straight not turning any where to minimise the action taken and reserve the moment of sleepiness!

Entering the car and putting it to reverse, waited till my parents drove out, driving in back, shutting the door and going up stairs to my room all happened so fast. It's probably the mind telling you to fast forward and get it done.

I'm back to my wonderland.

Being a victim of it, the company i've been working shutdown for a few days.

All the 9 sacred places have is different types of statues.
You can see alot of these Statues posing and serving different purposes.

The 'lat pei' Buddha. It's gold alright. Expensive dead skin. You can see people taking paper or tissue to wipe this statue.

This is scary. Why? Do look closely and you'll find it's actually a small guy with cat's eyes.

It was almost a year back when i made bookings to Bangkok. Back then the fee was RM0 charge but with fuel surchange. The wait was long and soon the excitement faded but when on track few weeks soon towards the trip. Woo hoo can't wait!

Prior to my schedule of departing in the morning, Air Asia rescheduled my flight to the afternoon wasting almost a day of plans and outing. WTF??!!

Being on board a cruise for the first time was just how I pictured it will be.
Unlike Titanic of that grandeur but something similar in a smaller scale.

Cold cool breeze from the ocean blowing at my face was something refreshing.

You don't have to worry if the ship has hit an ice berg.

There's Funafuti to the rescue! This boat can sit 90 people!

I wonder why it's named Funafuti.

Happy Chinese New Year!!

The festivities are back once more and like every other year my parents will stock up on food and drinks. Now this food "ba kua" i only eat it once a year during this period.
This particular shop Sun Wing Heong located at SS2 is particularly famous for this delicacy.

The shop ppl who sells this, during this period their profit is equivalent to a whole year of sales!
How not to make that much just see the number of people waiting outside to buy.

And.. i'm also one of those people. Got up early this morning just to be one of the first few to buy.
When i reach just got to know they only open at 12 noon!
These aunty uncles can't live without ba kua eh...

Due to the amount of people queing up until the road, the shop people didn't want everyone to rush in and burst the shop. They just let those first in line to enter and lock em in!
Once done bring in the next batch.

I was lucky to be the 2nd batch. Man..these ba kuas were selling fast like free distribution.
After 15 minutes opening their shop, it was almost sold out and the que was getting longer!

No need money ka?

Look at those people, waited but can't buy any.

After patiently waited for about 2 hours i finally can sink my teeth into this famous ba kua.

Damn, i'm gonna be a fat boy.

What have I been doing for the past few days.

Havent been updating frequently.

Yeah, this is my latest activity for the past few days.

Been goin the one at Curve to sweat it out and build em muscles!

Apart from what i do during my free time, my work has been pretty Ok for now.

Been going back on time these days. Used to work till 7 or 8 but that was the past.

It's been a month into the new year and many events has taken place.

Barack Obama got sworned in as the 44th President of US.

Have you guys hear his speeches. This man is 1 powerful speaker and in my opinion he talks in a realistic manner. I like his style.

Why so serious?! Heath Ledger got a deserving Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globe.

Now if they made a movie entirely just on the Joker i'll go watch it man.

All i've been saying is about external affairs non concerning Malaysia.

Well you know why, it's just too dissapointing to type it out.

Certain parties have even called to boycott Rihanna's concert. Damn those PASsing vehicles.

Rihanna's awesome and i simply love her songs.

Nothing really, just something to remind you that you're getting old!

Started of 2008 with a high and ended it with a low. In between as how i remembered it was just plain and simple. Nothing significant happened or change my life 360 deg.

Entering the Year of the Ox hopefully brings good fortune for all. May it be a bullish one for the economy as well although hopes of recovery will be slow. I reckon it will be tough and trying not this year but the next. Hopefully i won't be out of a job!

Just like every year i do set resolutions for my self. Well this year i'm going to list out the top do's which i want to accomplish.

#1 Learn diving and be a certified diver!

This has been on my mind for sometime. Hopefully can achieve it this year. Being myself let's see how this one goes. Haha.

#2 Get that promotion! Well this will be challenging since i'm considered a junior staff. Anyhow much effort must be made. Reading the horoscope mentioned that career prospects will be good.

Think big aim for the stars or sky!

Another weekend has gone by and time to start a new week. My weekends has just been normal no fancy outings or gatherings. Just spent time with family and relatives.

Enjoyed their company. Talked and laughed plus ate a whole lot of good food.
Nearing any festive celebration there's gonna be plenty of food!

During my schoolyears I've never come in first in academics or in sports. Well that's if I remember correctly.

But there are many firsts experience which i've gone through in my life.

The countless bowls of noodles, rice, western dishes, pasta, desserts and the list goes on are all just food and easily forgotten. I can't even remember what i had for lunch yesterday.

Ever tried making a dish for yourself. Well i've tried and i think it's not because of how great the taste is but the hardwork, effort, sweat and love that's put into the cooking that made the memories.

The first of anything are always memorable.

Let's drink for many first to come.

The End is Near

After a long weekend break coming to work today had me thinking, damn i should have slept longer on Thursday and Friday!

I should have gone to the mall on Friday when everyone's at work. No hassle at finding a parking spot! I should have this, should have that. How i wish i could turn back time and enjoy my long weekend once more!

That's just me i guess, got to live the moment while it last and appreciate the time i have.

Today was like any other usual working day. Had the same routine of waking up and driving to work. Don't know why but all i could think of was 5.35pm the time i finish work!

Don't these scenic photos look amazing. They're actually the view on the way to my ex-work place. This road is actually pretty jammed up in the morning. To be honest everytime i use this road i hope for it to be jam. That doesn't sound right does it. I enjoy the view everytime i pass this road, brightens up the day ahead.

This however i hate! It freaking tulan's me just right after i drove off from the housing area and join the main road, this is the sight and waiting i get. The worst part is nobody gives way to you.
Imagine all these experience was just at the beginning of the year.

Now have a productive week!
